Ringette BC April 2021 e-Newsletter

Message from Ringette BC

The 2020-2021 season has come to a close. While it did not end with the usual excitement there were still a lot of great memories and moments that we hope every player will take with them. Now is a good time to get outdoors, try other sports and activities, and get excited for the ringette opportunities that next season will bring.

Thank you to all the Safety Officers who stepped forward this year for taking on this role and for ensuring that all participants from coaches to officials to athletes were able to participate in ringette safely. Each of you did your best to adapt as COVID-19 restrictions evolved over the course of the season. Ringette in BC could not have existed without the support and efforts of the Safety Officers. Thank you very much for your dedication to the sport of ringette!

Thank you to everyone for participating in ringette this year and Ringette BC looks forward to seeing everyone one day soon at the rink!

When considering what activities to register your child with in the spring and summer please remember to confirm that the ringette activity your are registering with is a sanctioned Ringette BC event; whether it is a ringette camp, training day, practice session or anything in between. Just because it is ringette does not mean it is sanctioned by Ringette BC. Unsanctioned ringette activities are NOT covered by Ringette BC insurance. Ringette BC would like to encourage all of our families to continue to support our Member Ringette Associations when considering spring and summer ringette activities. If you are unsure if an activity or ringette camp is a sanctioned ringette activity please contact Ringette BC or your Home Association.
