Subject: Covid-19 Update of changes effective to December 7, 2020
I wanted to update all of our members of our association on the changes announced by Dr Bonney Henry which take effect today and continue on to December 7th with respect to our Return to Sport guidelines.
BC Ringette has sent out an announcement to all of the associations that outlines what can be done under the new guidelines for the return to Phase III of the Return to Sport process that we were operating under. I am going to try to highlight the guidelines that have been sent out from LMRL regarding the next 2 weeks and the status of playing games.
LMRL – Games Schedule:
There will be no LMRL scheduled games between associations or zones in the next 2 weeks
December 7th this will be re-assessed based on the health orders and RBC direction
Summary of key factors:
1. Games and contact activities are permitted
2. Team travel outside your local community is prohibited
3. Sport Cohorts remain in effect (50 Participants maximum or up to 4 teams)
4. Masks are mandatory in all areas of the facility the exception being the field of play
5. Spectators are NOT permitted

I urge everyone to follow the rules:
Wear your mask, while entering all the facilities and ensure a safe distance between you and other people as we navigate through these twists and turns with the covid-19 virus.
