I would like to thank Bonnie and everyone else who participated in our first 50/50 Raffle prize draw that was held in December by the Coquitlam Moody Ringette Association.
The 50/50 Raffle was a great success and will result in making it more affordable for children in our area to play Ringette and enjoy making new friends. This is something new for our association and it was well received by all of the members that I had the pleasure of speaking to about the raffle over the last month.
A BIG thank you to Kelly Krol (Promotions & Fundraising) for stepping up to put this new form of fundraising together for our association. The executive are already discussing how we can run another raffle draw to help build excitement for the Provincials Tournament that we will be hosting in March of 2022.
I would advise everyone to watch for more news on the Provincials Tournament that will be coming out in the weeks ahead. There will also be news on another possible 50/50 Raffle draw to start in the next month or so to help increase the success and excitement around this tournament.
