Update - COVID-19 Travel Restrictions

Good Afternoon,

Thank you for your patience this past week regarding the new travel restrictions within the Province of BC.

The travel restrictions announced today do not explicitly address sport; however, the restrictions do outline the regions and continue the messaging of staying local within the community.

Sport travel restrictions remain status quo and participants are permitted to travel to their Home Club, see the note below from the Government website.

"Participants can travel to their home club if their home club is outside of their immediate community. That club needs to be close to a participant's residence, like a neighbouring community."

To review the current Province-wide Restrictions for sport please visit the Government of BC website and review the viaSport Travel Reminder released by viaSport earlier this week.

The information above has been posted on the Ringette BC website under latest news. If there are any changes or implications related to sport in the coming days and weeks as more details are released Ringette BC will update all of the Ringette Associations as soon as possible.
